Caregiving takes a lot of time and energy. It's physically and emotionally stressful which is also a reason that it feels so rewarding. But what often gets left out of the caregiving? Is it you? If you've flown on an airplane, you know the drill with the oxygen masks: If you're with someone who can't put on their oxygen mask, you put on your mask first. Being a caregiver without caring for yourself is unsustainable. In this episode we offer some "anchors"and daily practices that help prevent your from burning out.
